Me and Daddy

Well this weekend was lots of fun, we celebrated Daddy's birthday-it was on Monday. I picked out a little remote control car, that hopefully I 'll get to play with eventually and Mommy and I got Daddy a glider ride gift certificate at a local airport. He was very excited and I can't wait to go watch him. I'm getting so big now, it's seems like I change everyday. I love to smile, a lot. And I have discovered my tongue, so I stick it out and play with it often. Of course since I started doing that I am drooling a lot now too. And my hands-they're the best, I love to chew and suck on them and make lots of noises while doing it. Right now I am just hanging out with Mommy, it's her day off, I am on the floor kicking and getting mad becuase I can't get both my hands in my mouth at the same time:)

So Sleepy

Hi from my little swing that I love so much. I am having a great three day weekend. I had all day Friday with mom and dad and we went on two long walks. One we went down to the carnival for heritage days, that was super fun :) I went 4-5 hours between feedings during the day on Friday and Saturday-mom liked that. But not today, I want to eat every two hours. Just can't get myself settled today either. Yesterday (Sat) mom and dad went to the back to 50's car show and I stayed home with Grandma B-I slept almost the entire time. Then mom and dad took me to the parade--I didn't like the big trucks with the loud horns and sirens, they were a little loud for me. Today I am jsut hanging around at home enjoying the beautiful weather and playing with my blue elephant, that's my favorite toy. He jiggles and rattles and is bright colored to look at. He makes me smile :)

Sorry it's been so long

Hi all!! Sorry it has been so long since our last blog. It is a lot to get used to working and daycare and being parents and staying sane throughout it all. But most of all it is fun and rewarding. William has had a great time in daycare with Grandma B and Lisa. Of course this last Tuesday I was glad he was with Grandma B and not Mommy-he had a diaper blowout that went through his pants and on to Grandmas--oops! Last week Grandma D was here from AZ to visit and we had a wonderful time. William also got his first set of vaccines-and boy did he cry, Mommy didn't though-even though inside I wanted to. William and Daddy had their first father's day together. William got Daddy a dad-o-matic t-shirt to wear and William wore a onsie that had matching tools on the front--it was so cute. He is smiling on a regular basis now :) The last 9 weeks have been amazing with William in our life and every day he brings us more joy- like when he smiles or responds to our voices. He is now starting to grow out of clothes and getting so big. He also will watch toys if you put them in front of his face and he will track them when you move it around. We'll post more this weekend and put up some pictures too.

Fun Weekend

What a busy weekend. On Saturday we went to Hugo and went to the carnival. I had a great time, Daddy won me a stuffed puppy dog. I was really excited to get my first overpriced cheap carnival toy :) I got to watch Matt and Uncle Jeff go down the big slide and I can't wait till I'm big enough to go too. Mommy and Daddy ate cheese curds and french fries and they didn't share with me :( Then we went back to Auntie Lynn's and Uncle Jeff's house and had a BBQ. Mommy read books to me and cousin Matt and then I had to go inside because there were lots of little bugs and I didn't want to get bit again. Today, Sunday, I ran a few errands with Mommy and Daddy and then I've just been hanging out in my swing. For some reason I am really hungry today and want to eat all the time. Later I'm going to have a bath, my favorite, so I can get ready for my first day of daycare with my grandma B. I'll be with her two days, then I go to Lisa's on Wed, and then Grammie D will be here to watch me on Thursday. Friday I have to go to the Dr. and get my 2 month vaccines. Definetly not looking forward to that, but everyone says it will be worse for Mommy than me. I'll let you know after I've poked who it was worse for.

The first picture is me on my first day of daycare, I was a little concerned and confused as to why I was leaving the house at 7am. The other picture is me holding my little gun guarding mommy and daddy, but I fell asleep.

Another Week

Mommy and Daddy survived another week. I had a great time at daycare but I know it was still really hard for my Mommy. I didn't eat as much this week and I actually took some naps, I am getting more comfortable there. Wednesday night I had Daddy all to myself since Mommy didn't get home from work until 9pm. We had a great time, I got poop all over myself-even in my belly button, and then I ate, and then like a perfect little angel I slept until Mommy got home. I had Thursday alone with Mommy since she didn't have to work. I really liked being home with her and I know Mommy loved it too. We had a nice relaxing day and took a nap together. This weekend I get to go see my cousin Matt and boy am I excited, we are going to the Hugo good neighbor days and hopefully Daddy will win me something cool at the carnival. Matt is big enough to play games this year, maybe I can play with him next year. I put up some new pictures of myself this weekend:)

Fun Weekend

I had a good weekend, Mom spoiled me rotten and I got to help Dad build a bench for the backyard. Mom and Dad also planted a garden for me with green onions, tomatoes, peppers, radishes, kohlrabi, green beans and cucumber. Dad's going to have to go get a basil plant still since his friend Kristin isn't here this year to supply his basil. Dad built my garden 6' x 8' so I'm hoping in a couple of years he'll turn it into a big sand box for me :) We'll I have to start crying now so Mommy will feed me. Bye Bye!!!!!!
