Baptism

I was baptised at Peace Lutheran Church on Sunday August 17. It was quite the event and was such a good boy, I didn't cry or anything. I smiled and worked the crowd. It was a beautiful day and a beautiful service. All my family was there and I even got to meet my Uncle Mike for the first time from Arizona, I really like him. After the service we went home and had brunch. It was a wonderful day. My godparents, Cindy and Chuck were so good to me. Cindy made my outfit out of linen and silk, and my blanket, she even embroidered my name on it. The day before we went to Hugo to celebrate Matt's 2nd birthday, I can't wait until I am big enough to play with toys. I tried sitting in Matt's powerwheels, but I am a little small. This weekend I met another baby, Paige, she is about 6 weeks younger than me. But boy is she cute. Daddy works with her Dad, and they all came for a BBQ on Sat, her sister Julia, she's 2, is so much fun, she loved daddy's fountain. Today I am just hanging out at home, catching up on some sleep from such a busy two weeks. Later we are going to go for a walk since it is such a beautiful day, not hot at all.

Hi all boy have I been a busy boy. I am now a skilled thumb sucker, and when I am not sucking my thumb I am busy drooling and trying to get my entire hand in my mouth. Bath time has become so much fun, I kick and splash and put my hands in the water and give the kitchen a bath too. I now takes both mommy and daddy to wash me cause I am so wiggly. I like to sit with mommy and daddy and watch the fire, it is captivating. And daddy loves the pants and t-shirt outfit cause then I look more like a little boy than a baby

Too Cute

Hi everyone! This is my favorite hat because it's like the ones Daddy wears. I had a doctor's appt today and I weigh 15 lb even. No wonder Mom's arms are getting stronger. I had shots today too and sure didn't like that. Last weekend was our BBQ and I had so much fun being held by everybody and showing off my smile. I had such a good time I was really cranky and tired on Sunday. Daddy tried to get me to crawl last night, but he said all I did was scoot myself around by pushing with my feet and then he figured he better pick me up before I got rugburn. I think it's so funny when Daddy sticks his tongue out at me, I try to stick mine out at him. I'm working on it but it's hard, mostly I just smile and laugh at him.

My new Hat

I am now a boy of many hats, after mommy couldn't find any, I have 4 now!!! And I am so cute when I wear them. Last weekend Daddy went on his glider ride and I did not care for the airplanes when they flew over and were so loud. Made me cry. I sure do love to giggle now when you tickle me and I am getting so big:) I smile and talk and coo. I talk to my Mr Elephant toy while I am hanging out in my swing. And I have discovered how to get my thumb in my mouth and I really like that. I have moved up to the next size diapers and I'm growing out of all of mommy's favorite outfits. I kind of have a little cold right now, Daddy has one and he shared. My nose is all stuffy and I have a little cough- makes nursing a little difficult but we are managing. I have also discovered my feet, they sure are fun to grab. My hair is coming in more now and I still have Mommy's blue eyes. Mommy likes that cause the rest of me is all Daddy.

So Big

This is my cool dude 4th of July outfit. I was boxing away the scary fireworks. Aren't we all so cute cuddling together! I love my auntie and cousin. I went to the Dr on Thursday and I am 25inches long and weigh 13lbs 10 oz! dr said I was a picture of health. Today I'm going to help Daddy work in their bedroom, he is taking out a wall so it can be bigger. It's one messy project. Last night we had to canp out in the living room, because Daddy started working yesterday. I keep growing out of all my clothes- makes mommy said and now I am going to be in the size 2 diaper! Go me! Good for mommy though, I'll have less diaper blow outs.

Jeff and I are so amazed everday with how fast he is growing and how interactive he is becoming with us. Smiling and cooing, he watches us and listens to our voices. It is so much fun. And he loves to be read to :)
