Vacation's Over :(

We are all home safe and sound! We had a wonderful time and William was a perfect little angel. He went to his first parade on the 4th and helped wave and yell to get candy. He did great with that until the Zups truck came by and it got really noisy, then he started screaming. He hung out with Aunti Connie for the rest of the time in the shade. We didn't have to worry about William with the fireworks because he stayed back at the cabin with Connie and all the puppies. On Sat William went for his first boat ride and weiner roast. He missed the whole thing; about 5 min after we got on the pontoon he was asleep until about 5 min before we docked. Jeff and I joke now we have to buy a pontoon because he slept for 5 hours :) William is now responding to being tickled, he doesn't giggle yet but he tries to squirm away, makes a grunting noise and smiles. It is very cute. We tried to put William's feet in the lake and as soon as we did he started screaming. I guess he's not ready to swim. We all had a super time and were sad to come home and go back to the real world but what can you do?
